Pair of Vintage Asian Tang-Style Bone Horses with Hanging Ornaments A matched pair of ceremonial horses assembled from individually cut and fitted sections of bone over carved interior forms. Each horse is posed with one foreleg raised and wears an elaborate carved bridle, saddle blanket, chest ornaments, and a series of small dangling pendants suspended from dark metal rings.
Each measures approximately 15 inches long and 12 inches high, with substantial weight and solid construction.The small hanging ornaments are not all present. Each horse appears to be missing approximately one pendant.
