Early–Mid 20th Century Mexican Folk Art Horned Mask carved from wood, hand-painted, and fitted with a pair of genuine animal horns. The face is painted with a black lizard-like creature. Horned devil and supernatural masks have long appeared in Mexican festival dances, Carnival celebrations, pastorelas, and other regional masquerade traditions.

- Origin: Mexico; possibly Guerrero or Michoacán
- Date: Early to mid-20th century, (c.1930s–1960s)
- Material: Hand-carved wood, polychrome paint, genuine animal horns, metal suspension wire
- Dimensions: Approximately 20–21 in. high overall; approximately 18 in. from horn tip to horn tip
- Condition: Age-related wear throughout, including paint loss, scratches, abrasions, etc. The horns and mask are sturdy. Please examine all photos carefully.
